Check the exact flat

Apapa is split, so the flat's meter number is the only way to know.

  1. Get the meter number. It’s on the meter and on any token receipt.

“Hello, before I pay for the flat, please send me the prepaid meter number (or a photo of a recent token receipt) so I can confirm its electricity band. Thank you.”

  2. Enter the account number (without the "/") or meter number on Eko Electricity’s feeder information portal (opens in a new tab)

It was down when we checked on 11 Oct 2026. If it still is, use step 3.

  3. Or read a token receipt: a tariff code starting with A (e.g. ‘A-Non MD’) means Band A.

A listing can say Band A for a flat that's on another feeder. Ask for the meter number before paying.

About Apapa

Is Apapa Band A?
Partly. 18 of the 32 feeders the official lists name for Apapa are Band A, but LASERC's October 2026 caps put three of those on Band B and one on Band C. 9 are Band B, 4 are Band C and 1 is Band E, but the same caps put one of the Band B feeders and one of the Band C feeders on Band A. Lists also disagree on 2 other feeders. Your band depends on the feeder your flat is on.
How many hours of power does Apapa get?
Band A feeders are promised at least 20 hours a day, Band B at least 16 and Band C at least 12. These are promised minimums, not guaranteed supply; a Band A feeder under 20 hours for 7 days in a row must be moved down.
How do I check a flat's band in Apapa?
Ask for the meter number and enter it on Eko Electricity's feeder information portal, or read a recent token receipt: a tariff code starting with A (for example 'A-Non MD') means Band A.
